Further: one of only two bars (on the whole beach!) which offers WiiFi and unfortunately unprofessional staff. But since there is even much worse in Puglia, I gave 2 stars ...
If you want less for your money, treated unfriendly and an overall average experience, go to Puglia.
I was twice (for many weeks), never again!!
Since many years I travel Italy for at least 6 weeks a year (so I know what I am talking about), but never have I paid more, for a camping-like atmosphere (across whole puglia, no matter where you are, it always feels like something is missing) and a lack of service/taste/detail/etc.
Nice beach, clean, well stocked up shop. However the sunbeds and umbrella situation doesn't make any sense. Always received in the 3rd row although paid highest price.
, saying that the ones at the front are reserved but during 7 hrs whilest we were there have not even been occupied.
Terrific place, excellent food, very nice staff, amazing music. We come back for sure!

An amazing spot to Kitesurf, chill out, soak up sun, enjoy drinks and taste delicious food prepared by Carlo the chef and owner of the Ficodindia.
We came here just before the season started and had an amazing time kitesurfing and enjoying the bar and restaurant at Ficodindia Beach.
Wind was a nice 14 to 18 knots south easterly, or as the local call it Sirocco. Little choppy, but mostly flat as it is shallow for about 30 meters into the water. This makes it perfect for beginners as well for pros who enjoy big air. Plenty of space launching the kite at the beach.
When the season started, kitesurfing is not permitted since there are too many people. This was the time when we relaxed under an Ombrellone with our two Lettinos and enjoyed cocktails and the tasty food prepared by Carlo. Staff are amazingly friendly, helpful, cheerful, and making you feel part of their family.
The rooftop is stunning with an awesome beach view and on clear days you can see the mountains of Albania.
A special and unique experience is dinner at Ficodindia. This requires booking as Carlo prepares his dishes with fresh ingredients.
The water was crystal clear and refreshing on hot days end of June.
